Online MSc Mental Health: Admissions Requirements
To be eligible to apply for the Online MSc in Mental Health, you will need to have obtained (or be predicted to obtain) an upper second-class degree or equivalent in a related discipline from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
If you do not meet the standard academic entry criteria, we take into account applications with practical experience of working with young people or in a mental health setting.

Application checklist:
Certificate/transcripts | Bachelors Certificate or transcript (or equivalent): In order to assess your academic eligibility, you must upload a copy of your Bachelors or alternative qualification certificate or transcript stating the final overall grade of the qualification. |
Completed application | You first need to complete an application form online, adding your CV, statement of purpose and any other supporting documents. |
Curriculum vitae (CV) or résumé | Supply an up-to-date CV demonstrating your academic and work experience, plus any other skills that may support your application. This will help us to ensure you have the right experience for the programme. |
Reference | One reference dependant on entry mode: Your reference can be either uploaded to your application by your referee or emailed directly to your student recruitment coordinator. Depending on your eligibility, this may not be required. Please speak to us for more details. |
Statement of purpose | This is your opportunity to draw attention to your skills, experience and goal and to explain why you wish to apply for this programme. |
Work experience | Practical experience of working with young people or in mental health settings will also be considered. |
Evidence of language | If English is not your first language, you will need to also supply an up-to-date English language certificate. We accept up-to-date academic IELTS certificates with a score of 6.5, and no less than 6.0 in any band. |
